Certification

The Recruit Ready Certification is designed for high school athletes ages 14-18, as well as AAU and club sport athletes preparing for college recruitment. The content is age-appropriate and doesn't require any prior business knowledge.

The program takes 4-6 hours total to complete. Athletes can work through the 6 modules at their own pace—some finish in a weekend, others spread it over 2-3 weeks. All progress is saved automatically, so they can pick up where they left off.

Yes! Each certificate includes a unique verification code that coaches can look up on our website. This confirms the athlete completed all modules and passed the assessments. We've had compliance officers from over 200 universities verify certificates for recruits.

Not at all! NIL applies to all college athletes—D1, D2, D3, NAIA, and JUCO. In fact, D2 and D3 athletes often have more flexible NIL rules, making this education even more valuable. The certification benefits any athlete considering college sports.

Absolutely! Parents get access to a dashboard showing which modules have been completed, quiz scores, and time spent in each section. You'll also receive email updates when your athlete finishes each module or earns their certificate.

Athletes can retake quizzes as many times as needed. The goal isn't to "trick" anyone—it's to ensure they truly understand the material. Most students pass on the first or second attempt. There's no time limit or penalty for retaking assessments.

While the NCAA doesn't officially endorse third-party certifications, our curriculum is 100% NCAA-compliant and many compliance officers recommend it. The certificate shows coaches your athlete has learned NCAA rules before arriving on campus—which benefits everyone.

Athletes should add the Recruit Ready badge to their Hudl, NCSA, BeRecruited, or other recruiting profiles. We provide downloadable graphics and the verification code to include. Many athletes also mention it in their commitment announcements and social media bios.
